Enterprise & Commercial Licensing
ollmo is open-sourced under Apache-2.0 with additional conditions (license notice). Personal use, internal enterprise use, and commercial application development are free; we also offer three ways to work with enterprises, giving organizations certainty and support when they put ollmo into production.
On-premises deployment
Best for: government and enterprise customers whose data must stay inside their network — organizations in finance, government, law firms, healthcare, manufacturing, education, and others with compliance and security requirements.
ollmo is designed for on-premises from the ground up:
- Complete Docker Compose orchestration — one command deploys the full stack;
- Supports intranet / offline environments with no dependency on external services;
- Multi-tenant isolation, audit logs, usage billing, and RBAC — production-grade capabilities out of the box;
- The model layer can be fully replaced with self-hosted open-source models, keeping all data in-house across the entire pipeline.

Custom development
Best for: teams with specific business requirements on top of the standard product, for example:
- Integration with internal systems (OA, ticketing, CRM);
- Custom document-parsing rules (specialized tables, layouts);
- Custom retrieval strategies and quality-inspection workflows;
- Branding and UI customization (ollmo's copyright notice must be retained — see License).
Billed by person-day; we assess the workload and provide a fixed quote before delivery.
Commercial licensing
ollmo's source code is free to use for internal enterprise use and building your own applications. The following scenarios require a written commercial license:
- Operating a multi-tenant SaaS service similar to ollmo (using ollmo as the product foundation sold to third-party customers);
- Any other scenario that requires removing or adjusting ollmo's branding.
